The Center for Vision Loss Endowment Foundation is an independent nonprofit corporation that is affiliated with the Center for Vision Loss and governed by a separate Board of Directors. The endowment foundation was established in 1980 to provide funding opportunities based on best investment practices that ensure our agency’s sustainability.

Helen Keller Society
People who support the endowment foundation with a gift of $1,000 or more in cash, stocks, securities, insurance benefits, or retirement account benefits can join the Helen Keller Society. Helen Keller, the legendary teacher and humanitarian, inspired the agency’s creation in 1928 with a speech to Lions Club leaders in Bethlehem, PA. Donors interested in joining the Helen Keller Society are asked to contact our Advancement office.
