Center for Vision Loss Offers New Social Media Internship Opportunity

The Center for Vision Loss has introduced an internship that offers experience in social media and nonprofit work.

The agency’s advancement department seeks a high school or college student who can help the organization connect with community members in new ways and increase its brand recognition. This social media intern will gain hands-on experience learning how to develop content and track relevant metrics. He or she also will be able to observe the process of rebranding a nonprofit organization led in part by a professional public relations firm.

The unpaid social media internship position is open immediately. Interested applicants should send a one-page cover letter and 2-3 examples of their social media experience to Christe Konopitski, the agency’s Director of Advancement at christe.konopitski@centerforvisionloss.org. Examples may include sample social media posts and blog items.
