The Center for Vision Loss has introduced an internship that offers experience in social media and nonprofit work.
The agency’s advancement department seeks a high school or college student who can help the organization connect with community members in new ways and increase its brand recognition. This social media intern will gain hands-on experience learning how to develop content and track relevant metrics. He or she also will be able to observe the process of rebranding a nonprofit organization led in part by a professional public relations firm.
The unpaid social media internship position is open immediately. Interested applicants should send a one-page cover letter and 2-3 examples of their social media experience to Christe Konopitski, the agency’s Director of Advancement at email@example.com. Examples may include sample social media posts and blog items.
The Center for Vision Loss is an equal employment opportunity employer under terms of federal, state, and local laws.
