Agency, Endowment Foundation Earn 2021 GuideStar Gold Seals of Transparency

The Center for Vision Loss and its affiliated endowment foundation have each earned a GuideStar Gold Seal of Transparency for 2021.

The agency has now earned the gold seal in three straight yeas and the endowment now earned it in two straight years.

GuideStar is the largest public database of information about American nonprofit organizations. It makes this information available to help guide potential donors and funders. The Gold Seal of Transparency reflects a commitment to transparency by the agency and the endowment foundation and is earned through the submission of meaningful information to their GuideStar profiles.

The Center for Vision Loss Endowment Foundation is an independent nonprofit corporation that is affiliated with the Center for Vision Loss and governed by a separate Board of Directors. The endowment foundation was established in 1980 to provide funding opportunities based on best investment practices that ensure our agency’s sustainability.
