Eye Care Clinic
The Center for Vision Loss operates an Eye Care Clinic at each agency office to provide basic low cost eye care to the un/underinsured residents of Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe Counties. Services include providing eye exams and corrective eye wear. The clinic accepts self-pay customers, as well as managed care insurances such as Davis Vision and Access for payment. Some financially-eligible customers may also qualify for free services.
Kristen Crooks Roseman, OD, directs the Eye Care Clinics. She graduated from Lehigh University, the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Roseman is joined at each clinic location by a state-certified staff optician.
The Eye Care Clinics are a unique addition to the public health care programs offered in all of the counties served by the Center for Vision Loss. They are a vital function of the agency’s commitment to quality vision care for low income and working poor individuals and families. The Lehigh Valley clinic operates on Wednesdays and Fridays at 845 West Wyoming Street, Allentown, PA 18103 while the Monroe County clinic operates on Tuesdays at 4215 Manor Drive, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
